Rishikesh – The Gateway to the Himalayas located in the foothills of the Himalayas along the banks of the sacred River Ganga, is one of the most spiritual and adventurous destinations in India. It lies in Uttarakhand, around 25 km from Haridwar and about 240 km from Delhi. Known as the “Yoga Capital of the World” and a hub for spirituality, meditation, and Ayurveda, Rishikesh also attracts thrill-seekers with its adventure sports and natural beauty. The city has hosted the annual International Yoga Festival on the first week of March since 1999, giving it the nickname of Yoga Capital of the World. Rishikesh is a vegetarian-only and alcohol-free city. Rishikesh is the starting point for travelling to the four Char Dham pilgrimage places: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. It is also a starting point for Himalayan tourist destinations

- Sivananda Ashram / Divine Life Society - Renowned center for yoga, Vedanta, and spiritual learning.
- Neelkanth Mahadev Temple - Sacred Lord Shiva temple, connected to the Samudra Manthan legend.
- Bharat Mandir - Ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, believed to be established by Adi Shankaracharya.
- Kunjapuri Devi Temple - Hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati, offering a stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas
- Har Ki Pauri Ghat -The most famous ghat, believed to be where Lord Vishnu left his footprint. Evening Ganga Aarti here is the soul of Haridwar.
- Ganga Aarti - A divine ritual performed at sunset with lamps, chants, and bells on the banks of the Ganga.
- Mansa Devi Temple - Located on Bilwa Parvat, accessible by ropeway, dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi (fulfiller of wishes).
- Chandi Devi Temple - On Neel Parvat, another Shaktipeeth, also accessible via ropeway or trek.
- Tehri Lake - a massive man-made reservoir offering breathtaking views and water adventure sports like jet skiing, banana rides, water zorbing, speed boating, and kayaking.
